A rental kart. Age 18.
No childhood racing career. Just a dare that got me started.
Egyptian racing driver
At 18, a dare got me into a rental kart.
It ended up changing my life.
01 MY STORY
I wasn’t the kid who’d been racing since he was five. I didn’t grow up competing in karts. I just tried rental karting because of a dare.
Then, in my first proper attempt at racing, I won a rental Rotax championship. That was the moment I started thinking…
“Maybe I’m actually
pretty good at this.”
So I joined an F4 academy, drove formula cars for the first time, and started taking racing seriously. Eventually, that road led to the UK, where I’m now competing in the Mazda MX-5 Clubman Championship.
A stupid dare at 18. Somehow, the beginning of a whole new life.
No childhood racing career. Just a dare that got me started.

An F4 academy and my first experience in formula cars.

02 NOW RACING
These days, you’ll find me on the grid in the UK’s Mazda MX-5 Clubman Championship.
The dare might have been a joke.
The racing isn’t.

The racing. The preparation.
